Pennsylvania Municipal Authorities Association is the recognized association for municipal authorities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Founded in 1941, PMAA was established "to provide its members with a medium for exchange of ideas on mutual problems, to present a united and common front in advocating favorable legislation and opposing detrimental legislation, and to otherwise promote the general welfare of municipal authorities of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania."
